Hibberdene lies at the mouth of the magnificent Umzimai River and has five popular beaches, of which four are netted for safe swimming. What makes Hibberdene’s beaches so popular is that the warm Indian Ocean flows across its shoreline and thus makes diving and snorkelling a delight. The Hibberdene Lagoon is well worth a visit, whether to simply relax in the warm sun or enjoy a few fun activities.
