Beach Camp

Beach Camp nestles on the banks of the Uembje Lagoon that forms part of Bilene in the Gaza district of Mozambique. The self-catering venue offers six wooden bungalows sleeping 14 guests in total. Ablutions are separate from the bungalows, and consist of two showers and toilets. Linen and bedding are provided, but please bring your own towels. Enjoy beautiful sunrises from the gazebo, a mere 20 m from the lake, or marvel at the spectacular sunsets. Just 2km from Beach Camp is the blue ocean, with huge dunes for quad biking and 4X4 enthusiasts. The shallow shores offer safe swimming for small children and Beach Camp is also close to the lagoon, making it the ideal holiday spot with an island feel.

Cold beer, cold drinks, ice, charcoal and firewood can be bought in the Nhabanga village. Close by is a restaurant known for its excellent Portuguese food and Lorenzo's Bar, a local pub in the village, offers DStv.

You can only reach the venue with a 4x4 vehicle.
