About Bateleur's Nest

Bateleur's Nest is a cosy self-catering cottage within Marloth Park that caters for up to six people.

The cottage offers a spacious kitchen and lounge area. The main bedroom is situated on the ground floor next to the bathroom. The upstairs loft area shares four single beds and has access to the viewing deck. The main bedroom and loft area are both air-conditioned.

Viewing deck with tables and chairs and a Jucuzzi outside for relaxing. Braai area and fire pit.

★★★★★ There are many issues with this accommodation. The worst were the mice and bats! They are everywhere. They poop all over the place! You can clean as much as you like. The poop will keep falling from the grass roof as they have nestled themselves comfortably in the roof. The roof is also falling apart. At night you can see the sky from the inside. ★★★★★ We booked this place for 3 nights but only ended up staying 1 night. Gas instructions are a disaster, to get the Jacuzzi working is an art, and the owner got so irritated on the phone with us as if we weren't allowed to bother him. The bedding is also very old and the pillows worn out. The place has potential but at the moment its not nice.
