Each room is also equipped with a ceiling fan to keep guests cool in summer. All the rooms in House 1 have en-suite bathrooms with showers, while only the main bedroom in House 2 has an en-suite bathroom. The houses can be rented together or separately.A security guard patrols the houses and looks after the vehicles during the night, and a management couple are on-site to welcome and assist with any requirements. Local vendors will source and supply you with seafood as well as freshly baked bread, bread rolls and seasonal fruits; this can be arranged through the staff servicing the houses.Guests have full access and use of the pool, bar and restaurant facilities at Sunset Lodge. The open-air restaurant offers anything from delicious hamburgers to scrumptious seafood platters. A market in Inhambane sells most fresh produce and fruit, and has a fully stocked liquor store. Frozen imported meat is available from selected suppliers. Curios are plentiful and it is requested that guests help protect the ocean by not purchasing the shells.The final 1 km access is a soft sand road; therefore 4x4 vehicles are recommended. Certain vehicles will be able to get onto the property, but will have to park at the workshop which is 50 m away from the houses. Guests are advised to deflate their tyres to 1 bar at the beginning of the road to avoid getting stuck.With a 180-degree view of the Inhambane Estuary, mangrove swamps and the warm blue water of the Indian Ocean in Barra Bay, the district boasts one of the largest plantations of palm trees worldwide, and this vegetation combined with the endless pristine beaches and sparkling ocean ensure you have a wonderful tropical getaway.
