Welcome to Ballito Backpackers, situated in the heart of Ballito with quick and easy access to the beautiful beaches, local shops, popular night clubs and restaurants serving a variety of local and international cuisines.

Ballito Backpackers offers affordable accommodation with a 24-hour front desk, free Wi-Fi, communal lounge, kitchen and braai area. With a variety of accommodation options available there is something to suite every traveler’s needs.

The dorm rooms are ideal for groups whilst the twin and double rooms are suited to couples or friends travelling. The new premier double rooms are ideal for ultimate privacy for couples or corporate travelers. All rooms are decorated in a minimalist style with simple furnishings.

Nearby attractions include the beach, fishing, golf, bars, night clubs, shopping centers, hiking, horse riding, safaris and so much more! An action-packed itinerary can be arranged on your behalf with all the activities booked through our offices. King-Shaka International Airport is a quick 22 km drive from the property and transfers can be arranged through our reputable service providers.

Although we strive to please guests of all ages and walks of life we are very popular amongst the youngsters who enjoy the wide range of night life that surrounds us. If it’s a more relaxed stay you looking for, you simply stroll across to the beach where you may set eyes on our local dolphins that feed along the stunning coast line. Or take a walk along our popular promenade boardwalk that stretches along our beaches. With so much on offer in Ballito, our backpackers is the place to be.

REFUNDS: We regret we do not give refunds on deposits or fully paid accommodation.Group bookings of 10 or more people will not receive a refund once a deposit has been paid regardless of how far in advance cancellation occurs. Please Think carefully before paying for accommodation as once you have paid for it we will not refund any unused portion!

Everything was just a no to me The bed was very bad when you sit on it you go all the way down and it was making sound every time you try to move. Tv was not even working , the shower there isn’t a place where you can put your soap 🧼 the bathroom was a no no , Thank goodness the air condition was working::
