Simon’s Town is a short drive from the house and here guests can visit the penguins at Boulders Beach, dine at various restaurants, and browse through the boutique shops.Fish Hoek CBD is equidistant to the north and has all the shops necessary to stock up on supplies and do all types of shopping.

Locally there is a wine store, Spar supermarket, Total Service Station and Veteranarian. There are a few pubs on the entrance to Glen Road.
