Important Information
Please note KZN - specifically all households under the Ethekweni council - is experiencing water shortages at the moment, all guests, owners and tenants have been requested by the council to ration water - thus no washing vehicles and using water unnecessarily. Non compliance will result in further water restrictions.
Please note any water restrictions implemented by the council is not within Umhlanga Vacations control at all – only Ethekweni / Council can be held liable. They decide on an ad hoc basis what the restrictions will be. They do not advise us of times. Sometimes between 09:00 to 15:00 on any day and sometimes until 17:00 or even later. At times water is cut by 08:00 in the morning, at times this happens earlier. This is beyond our control.
Please be prepared for water shortages during the day, you can go to the Spar and purchase 5 litre empty containers and it’s R1.00 per litre to fill the container with water, its best to ensure you always have spare water available at your place of residence at all times.
