3 Day Kruger Experience Lodge-Treehouse

The Kruger National Park is the home of more than 500 bird species, 100 species of reptile and 150 mammal species, including the Big 5 (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and leopard) and the endangered African wild dog. During our 3 Day, 2 Night Kruger Tour, you will experience all those exciting things that South African nature has to offer.

Day 1:

You are picked up from your hostel or Johannesburg Airport and brought to Tremisana Lodge in the Big Five Balule Game Reserve via Dullstroom, where we board an open Landcruiser for a sunset drive in this Big Five Game Reserve. After dark, spotlights are used to locate nocturnal animals. In the our new Marula Tree Boma deep in the African bush we provide you with a traditional bush braai. Accommodation for the night will be an en suite chalet at Tremisana Lodge.

Day 2:

After breakfast, we spend the day travelling through the Orpen Gate of Kruger. Due to the added elevation and because it has no windows the open-sided gameviewer allows for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. A qualified guide accompanies you to show the various animals that frequent this outstanding wildlife environment. The Orpen Gate of Kruger provides the highest percentage population of giraffe, zebra and antelope, which then again attract numerous lions and other predators. Dinner and overnight will be in our fascinating treehouse at Marc’s Treehouse Lodge.

Day 3:

We enjoy an early morning Bush Walk accompanied by an armed ranger, who will show you various interesting details of the bush, for example, insects, spoor and scats. You are offered the great opportunity to encounter nyala, buffalo and other game on foot. After breakfast, we drive to the Three Rondawels of the Blyde River Canyon. We bring you back to your hotel or airport at around 17h00.
