The lounge next door has a television with Netflix movies and On Demand channels, as well as free Wi-Fi. The complex has communal braai facilities and a parking area. There is a generator for the lights, television, Wi-Fi, cell phones, laptops and other light charging devices in case of load shedding.

Gonubie offers beautiful hiking trails, beautiful views of the sea and lagoon, native plants and flowers and some of the best beaches on the Wild Coast.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment and on the balcony.

Water sports such as river and stone fishing, surfing, rowing, and boating can be enjoyed on the sea or lagoon. Other activities include bird watching, quad biking, picnics, golf and farm marches.
