About Rietvlei Nature Reserve
Rietvlei nature reserve covers an area of 3800 hectares and can support up to 2000 head of game. 40 Kms drive of game viewing. Braai and picnic with toilet facilities. Fishing is allowed and there is a yacht boat house, no motor boats allowed. Games species include, lion, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, cheetah, zebra, eland and many more. 272 Species of birds and 530 identified species of plants.
